How to play

Each round, you and your opponent secretly pick one square, then both strikes land at the same moment — you predict, you don't react.

Claim — strike an empty square to take it.
Echo — strike beside your own square to steal a touching enemy square.
Shatter — if you both hit the same square, it's destroyed for good.
Crack — strike an enemy square to damage it; twice turns it neutral.

Hold the most ground when the grid fills. The in-app tutorial (Menu → How to play) walks you through it in under a minute.

Frequently asked

How does local 2-player work?
Both phones must be on the same Wi-Fi or hotspot. One player hosts and shares a code; the other joins with it. No internet or account required.

Is there an account or login?
No. ECHO needs no sign-up and works fully offline against the AI.

ECHO does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.

The game runs entirely on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. Local 2-player connects two devices directly to exchange game moves only; no personal information is involved, and nothing is sent to us or any server.

Because no data is collected, there is no data to access, change, or delete.
